Creating Immersive Science Fiction

AN OCULUS MEDIUM DEMO. This was a live demo I did using Oculus Medium back in March of this year at the Atlanta Sci-Fi & Fantasy Expo. I had a great time sharing what I've learned an hopefully giving some insight into my creative ideology. I met lots of cool people including, Richard Walls a fellow artist and Professor from louisiana, who recorded this livestream via Facebook of my panel.

My frequently asked questions F.A.Q.

Aren’t you that guy from that podcast called SiDEBAR? Yes
Do you guys intend to do another show? Not likely, but I never say never.
Do you still do traditional rendering using pencil, paper, ink, paint? Yes it is still a part of my process as time allows, but I find myself using more digital tools these days.
Do you do panels at conventions or training “talks” at schools? Yes I do both. The extent depends upon the situation and what is needed.
Do you do Convention sketches? Yes on occasion.
Do you take commissions at conventions? Yes but I don’t complete them there on site.
What kind of art do you do? Primarily science-fiction and fantasy with some costume characters sprinkled in.
Do you consider yourself a writer? No I do not but, I am a creation driven prose maker in service to the stories I create in the forementioned genres.
Can I hire you to do my characters and design props? Yes if we can come to terms.
What 3d packages do you use and which do you prefer? Z Brush, Oculus Medium, occasionally Sketch Up.
